Aliso Viejo, Calif. - October 16, 2014 - Schuberth North America has unveiled the all-new "M1" helmet at AIMExpo 2014 in Orlando, FL. The German helmet manufacturer introduced the M1 open face helmet to members of the press at the AIMExpo media hub on Thursday, October 16.
With seven colorways, the M1 places equal emphasis on aesthetics and styling as on function and protection. The open face design makes the M1 suitable for a wide variety of riding styles, including everything from touring bikes to cruisers, cafe racers to scooters and even 3-wheelers.
The versatile M1 can be customized to over 1000 configurations to suit any riders' preference. Options include numerous face shield and sun visor colors, and Schuberth's simple mechanism makes for easy removal of the faceshield and installation of mini-peak for a completely different look and function. The graphite toned lining is available in an interchangeable coffee color, and the top vent cover can be changed from titanium color to matte black.
One of the most impressive features of the new M1 is the Snap-n-Play™ Schuberth Rider Communication System™ accessory. The M1 features built-in speakers, boomless microphone and antenna, and the SRC-System™ simply snaps into place on the back of the helmet. Powered by Cardo, this optional upgrade pairs wirelessly with most Bluetooth® devices to facilitate bike-to-bike communication, phone calls, GPS or music.
The Schuberth M1 will be available in North America in spring 2015 through Schuberth North America dealers or online at www.SchuberthNorthAmerica.com.
